Không lâu sau tin đồn về một chiếc máy ảnh DSLR với cảm biến 35mm (full-frame) giá rẻ, Canon hôm nay đã chính thức giới thiệu máy ảnh Canon 6D body với cảm biến kích cỡ tương tự như trên máy ảnh Canon 5D Mark III nhưng giá rẻ hơn nhiều. Không chỉ là một chiếc máy ảnh full-frame với giá hấp dẫn, 6D còn là máy ảnh chuyên nghiệp đầu tiên được tích hợp GPS cũng như kết nối WiFi, cho phép người dùng sử dụng các ứng dụng trên Android hay iOS để điều khiển máy.
