The OM-D E-M5 Mark III is an interchangeable lens camera that combines a compact, lightweight design and high performance with the appeal of the Micro Four Thirds System. Image quality and AF performance that rivals that of high-end models is packed into an amazingly compact, lightweight body along with new powerful in-body 5-axis image stabilisation and versatile shooting features. With the ability to record high quality 4K video, you'll be able to easily shoot authentic footage of various scenes and subjects.
This model features a compact system that is a full size smaller than full-frame interchangeable lens cameras, while offering rich tonal expressions, high resolution, and superb high image quality. It features a dustproof, splashproof, and freezeproof to -10℃ design for shooting in the most difficult environments.
Equipped with high-performance On-chip Phase Detection AF, this camera is capable of AF performance which rivals that of high-end models. It features improved AF precision and tracking performance for moving subjects along with convenient functions such as C-AF Centre Priority and Centre Start. AF is more advanced than ever for ease of use.
The new 5-axis IS unit optimised for a compact, lightweight body delivers compensation effects beyond that of the E-M5 Mark II. Combined with in-lens IS, this feature supports 5-axis sync IS for powerful image stabilisation.
This model is equipped with a high-performance OLED viewfinder for minimal distortion to the edges of the image. The long eyepoint ensures excellent visibility even when wearing glasses.
Lots of Olympus interchangeable lens camera shooting features are packed into this model, such as Live Composite, Live Bulb and Live Time for easy long exposures. Pro Capture can also be used to record decisive moments.
The E-M5 Mark III is capable of powerful image stabilisation not only for still images, but for videos as well. Stable 4K video with minimal shaking can be recorded even during handheld shooting.
The high-speed mechanical shutter, capable of up to 1/8000 second and the traditional Olympus high-performance dust reduction system are all some of the basic features that make the E-M5 Mark III superior. A wealth of accessories are also available for expanding shooting possibilities.
